Our Vision
KABCO’s primary vision is to use the public-private partnership model to upgrade the standard of living of Kerala’s farmers.

KABCO seeks to streamline agricultural marketing across the state. Priority will be given to ensuring that farmers receive fair and prompt compensation, removing uncertainty in their earning cycle.

KABCO also seeks to introduce state of the art food processing technology for value addition. It will identify domestic and international markets where Kerala’s agro products can be exported to.

KABCO will develop and market Kerala’s array of indigenous cash crops, fruits and spices. It will also work with existing Government mechanisms, NGO’s, exporters, entrepreneurs, and other organisations to maintain their quality of products and enhance their market value.

Our Mission
KABCO’s overarching mission is to play a leading role in shaping a sustainable agricultural system that ensures better income and better living conditions for farmers. To do so, we propose to:

Coordinate activities of farmers and agricultural groups, such as Farmer Producers Organizations, Farmers’ Groups and Agricultural Cooperative Societies, so as to get them a fair remuneration for their crops.

Establish Agro parks of international standards for storage, packing and processing of locally available major crops, to enable farmers to derive the most value without going through mediators.

Sustain and build Kerala’s position in the international market by coordinating marketing activities of our products in Asia, Europe, America, and the Middle East. As a logical extension of these efforts, build a brand that promotes Kerala’s indigenous agri-products across geographies.

KeralAgro : The new face of Kerala’s Agricultural ecosystem

Kerala’s farmers, farmer cooperatives and food processing companies already market and sell a wide range of products across India and the world. But, to date, their marketing has been through individual efforts. What they have lacked is a common brand that assures the end consumer of their quality and origin.

KeralAgro is KABCO’s answer to this issue. A brand wholly owned by KABCO, it signifies that any product that use it is not only from Kerala, but also meets the stringent quality standards laid down by KABCO at every stage, from production and processing to packaging and distribution. The KeralAgro brand is also a guarantee that the product is made sustainably, and that the farmers growing.

KABCO is committed to make every effort to make KeralAgro a globally recognised brand. By bringing various indigenous brands under the KeralAgro umbrella, KABCO aims at improving their brand value. The assurance that every product bearing the KeralAgro brand is of International standards, gibes consumers the confidence that they are buying not just a product, but part of Kerala’s legacy of quality, authenticity and sustainable development.
